Can you imagine what it's like to be a child who isn’t able to just get up and go wherever they want? To have to watch from the sidelines while your friends run down the street to play, or sit in the sand while your siblings jump around in the ocean ?

There is a quote by philosopher Thucydides, "The secret of happiness is freedom," and SJGF has found the perfect gift to give children who are dependent on wheelchairs the freedom and independence they deserve.

An all-terrain wheelchair! Lovingly coined "The Tank" by our first Raindancer recipient, Alex Green.

The Gift of

independence

With an all-terrain wheelchair, kids who are wheelchair dependent, can literally go anywhere they want! They can be independent outdoors, oftentimes, for the first time in their life.

Six of our Raindancers have experienced the gift of an all-terrain wheelchair, aka "The Tank" from SJGF, and our dream is to gift even more. These chairs now start out at $15,000, and these gifts are only made possible because of sponsors and partners who say "YES" to our call for help.
